Ogura memulakan debutnya dalam Kejohanan Dunia Moto3 pada tahun 2019 dan berpindah ke Moto2 pada tahun 2021, di mana beliau memenangi Kejohanan Dunia Moto2 2024. Ogura dijadualkan membuat debut dalam MotoGP pada tahun 2025 bersama Trackhouse Racing, menunggang Aprilia RS-GP spesifikasi kilang.
